Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HireProxy.ai, a multi-tenant SaaS platform operated by Broadlake Technologies LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Account Creation
- You create an account using your email address. Each person may hold one account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use HireProxy.ai.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date.
2. Acceptable Use
Your HireProxy site must represent your own professional background. You may not:
- Fabricate credentials, certifications, or work history
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Use the platform for harassment, spam, or any illegal purpose
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights or contains illegal material
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or platform restrictions
3. AI Disclaimer
- AI-generated responses are based primarily on data you provide (profile, work history, career stories, and branding preferences). Responses may also reflect the AI model's general knowledge when providing context or framing answers.
- HireProxy does not independently verify the accuracy of your data or the AI's responses.
- AI can make mistakes. Responses may occasionally be incomplete, imprecise, or contextually off.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the data you provide to the platform.
- HireProxy is not a party to any hiring or employment decision. Visitors should independently verify any information before making hiring decisions.
4. Subscription & Billing
- Pricing: Current pricing and plan details are available on our website. Plans include usage limits as described at the time of purchase.
- Free trial: New accounts receive a free trial with full platform access. Trial length is displayed during signup and may vary based on promotional offers.
- Payments: All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy handles billing, taxes, and refunds on our behalf.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through the LemonSqueezy customer portal. Your site remains active through the end of the current billing period.
5. Data Ownership
- You retain ownership of all content you provide to HireProxy.ai (profile data, work history, career stories, uploaded documents).
- By using the platform, you grant HireProxy a license to display your content on your subdomain and to use it for generating AI responses to visitor questions.
- You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
- Suspended accounts (cancelled subscriptions) retain all data and can be reactivated at any time.
6. Visitor Terms
By accessing any candidate site hosted on HireProxy.ai (e.g., name.hireproxy.ai), visitors agree to the following:
- AI-generated responses are informational only and are not verified by HireProxy.
- Responses should not be the sole basis for any hiring, employment, or business decision.
- Visitors are responsible for independently verifying any information obtained through the platform before acting on it.
- HireProxy is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content on candidate sites.
7. Service Availability
- We provide HireProxy.ai on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee specific uptime or offer an SLA.
- We may modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.
- Planned maintenance or changes that materially affect your site will be communicated via email.
8. Termination
- You may cancel your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
- Upon termination, your public site is unpublished immediately. Data deletion follows our Data Retention Policy.
- Suspended accounts that remain inactive for 12 months may be permanently deleted. We will attempt to notify you via email at least 30 days before deletion.
9. Misrepresentation
If we determine that your site contains materially false information about your professional background—including fabricated credentials, falsified employment history, or invented metrics—we reserve the right to unpublish your site immediately and terminate your account without refund. This policy exists to protect the integrity of the platform and the trust of recruiters and hiring managers who rely on it.
10. Limitation of Liability
- HireProxy.ai is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for hiring decisions, employment outcomes, or business decisions made based on AI-generated responses.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Broadlake Technologies LLC, its officers, and its agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) the content you provide to the platform, (b) AI-generated responses based on your content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) any third-party claims related to your use of the service.
12. Privacy
Your use of HireProxy.ai is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of HireProxy.ai will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in North Carolina, USA. Either party may bring claims in small claims court as an alternative to arbitration. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
